There’s something about stone walls that appeals to me. Some are very old. Some are tumbled down. Some have fabulous colours and textures. I started photographing them last year and it seems to have turned into a bit of a project.

I grew up on the island of South Uist in the Outer Hebrides and I find that this has influenced many aspects of my life including the subjects that I photograph. My background is in art and I have worked as an illustrator for many years.
